Great in-room amenities and amazing views from the windows that left us speechless! The location was also perfect for exploring the nearby attractions and local restaurants within walking distance. Finally, the friendly staff were incredibly accommodating and made our stay a joy.
One of the biggest letdowns was the limited dining options at the hotel and the surrounding area over the Easter holidays. The room's air-conditioning system was also quite dated, making it a bit difficult to find the right temperature for a comfortable sleep.

The location was ideal for our Easter break, with easy access to nearby hiking trails and local restaurants. We appreciated the convenience of the nearby bus stop which made it easy to explore the surrounding area. The outdoor hot springs were the highlight of our stay, and we enjoyed relaxing in the warm waters after a day of hiking.
While the room was cozy, we would have appreciated a little more space to relax in. Although we didn't mind the traditional Japanese sleeping arrangements, it would have been nice to have access to tea-making facilities in our room.

Walking distance to Yufuin old town. Excellent staff. Traditional Japanese style room. Central location. Close to train station and lake. Cozy and homely feel. Delicious breakfast. Relaxing indoor and outdoor bath.
Nothing not to like.

We had a pleasant stay with a great location near the train and bus stations, just opposite the B-Speak Swiss Roll Shop, and near the main shopping street and attractions. The staff was friendly and accommodated our needs. Our room was small but provided a proper Japanese experience with roll mats and extra bedding, and the public onsen was relaxing with a hot sauna. The Japanese breakfast was also a nice touch.
The bathroom area was a bit small, but manageable.
